FAVORITE FINDS: FALL
It is the first week of September… so now I have absolutely no shame saying ITS THE BEST TIME OF THE YEAR. I have obsessed over the season of Fall and Halloween since I was a little girl. Growning up, my mom made it so special for my brother and I. From trips to pumpkin patches, Hocus Pocus and Halloween Town snuggles, decorating every inch of the house (inside and out), picking and carving pumpkins, to dressing up and playing outside pretending to be witches for hours.
As I have grown up, this season has not become any less magical. There is just something so special about when the air becomes crisp, the leaves begin to cover the ground, you can throw on a cozy knit, and have your house smell of warm apple pie and cinnamon. I now have my own space to decorate and it is something that I look forward to every year. I am always on the hunt for the coziest additions to my collection, I feel there is a fine line between cute halloween decor and tacky. On this post I have added some of my favorite finds for this fall season. I hope you all find as much joy in the upcoming season as I do and find these items to be your favorites as well. Let the coziness begin!
ONE: These spider candle holders are one of my favorite things to put on the mantle during halloween. I find them to the perfect blend of spooky and cute
TWO: Usually these porch pumpkins are offered in a galvanized tin, but this year they are available in black and I can’t love them enough! I am currently apartment living, but I dream of a white house with black shutters and a front porch with a couple of these babies light up down the steps… what. a. dream! For now they will be on our balcony porch for us to enjoy
THREE: Every year I tell myself I DO NOT need another door mat themed for fall, then I find the cutest ones and I cannot resist! This trick-or-treat mat is extremely special because it lights up when you step on it!
FOUR: This is one of my all time favorite cook books. Not only is a great cook book for the fall season, it is perfect for adding a fall touch to a room
FIVE: One of my favorite tops from last season is back again!!! This is the perfect nod to the one and only Hocus Pocus. I wore this shirt so much last season and I can’t wait to live in it again this season. This year I was blessed with a sneak peak of the entire fall collection and it is SO good, so be sure to check out some of the other Hocus Pocus fun
SIX: I have random boxes and jars of matches spread all over, but these are new to me this year. I love that they are festive but also functional. I personally think you could place these just about anywhere in your home, and they make for the perfect festive touch
