FALL BUCKET LIST
Hi friends! As you guys know…..Fall is my absoluteeeeeeeee favorite time of the year. I cherish the season so much, and I do everything to make it last as LONG as I can! I wanted to share my fall bucket list with you all in hopes you can make the most of your fall season. Life can be busy, but you can still make time for the small fun things!
Go apple picking: Down the road from where I grew up is an apple orchard. I have so many special memories of walking to the orchard and getting apples whenever we wished (the owners were close family friends). I have the fondest memories baking apple pies with my mom and homemade apple sauce with my grandma.
Caramel Apples: Nothing says fall more than caramel apples, whether you make them yourself or pick some up at the store. Next week on the blog I will have a fun (and festive) caramel apple craft that I will be sharing with you all and I can’t wait!!
Go to a fall festival: Every year at the beginning of October, my mom, grandma and I travel to the Apple Fest a few towns over from my hometown. It is probably one of my favorite things to do all year. I think its the combination of spending the entire day together and celebrating fall, it’s the coziest time!!!! I am so sad that this year we weren’t able to have that experience because of COVID-19. However, I think a fun substitute this year would be to travel to the same town that you usual would for the fall fest. You could go to their farmers market or to a local shop (if you can do so safely). This is a good way to still support the local businesses that you normally would and have a fun fall time. Hoping to be back at the fest next year!
Decorate for Halloween: As you know, I love to decorate for Halloween. I carefully select each piece that I decorate with and love to make everything so festive. If you want to check out my Fall Apartment Tour you can click on the link!
I also wanted to include a downloadable file for the bats used in my post: BATS TEMPLATE
(Please note that the download is in word doc. format so the bats can be resized to your liking)
Visit a pumpkin patch: I think I have been to nearly every pumpkin patch in a 100 mile radius (not an exaggeration). I love stopping at them all, even if I have already purchased pumpkins. I just think there is something so magical and charming about a pumpkin patch that I have to stop at every one I spot.
Carve pumpkins: Carving pumpkins is a no brainer fall bucket list item. No matter what age you are, it is fun to come up with a fun pumpkin creation.
Snack on apple cider and donuts: I love going to the local market for donuts and fresh apple cider. It makes for a perfect breakfast on a porch decorated with pumpkins!
I hope this bucket list inspires you to go out and have fun with friends and family! If you happen to use my bucket list I would love for you to tag me wherever you like to post!
