FAVORITE FINDS: VALENTINE'S DAY
Valentine’s Day holds such a warm little place in my heart. For me, there is something so nostalgic about this day full of love. I can remember how excited I would get to decorate a box to place on my school desk and pass around carefully picked out Valentine’s to my classmates. After school I would go home to flowers from my dad and a special treat from my mom.
As I have grown up, this day still makes me so excited! To this day my dad always treats me to flowers and my mom always has a trick up her sleeve for a special surprise. I love walking into a convenience store and seeing loads of heart candies and boxes of chocolates, planning a Galentine’s day celebration with my girls, picking out cards for my loved ones, a date night with Trev, and putting fun treats together for my niece and nephew. I think you get the point (lol!). Overall, I just find Valentine’s to be a cozy time to spread love and celebrate the people around you! I have thrown a couple of cute finds together that I have seen recently that I think will be a perfect addition to your love filled day.!
Valentine’s inspired pillows!!! I find pillows to be the perfect opportunity to slip festive fun into my home decor. You can through them on a chair or bed to add a little touch of festive. I have found Target to have the best selection, especially Opalhouse designs!
Love these heart shaped spoons from Anthropologie! They are both cute and functional! Use them for making tea or lattes or even baking. When you are finished throw them in a cute glass on your counter so they can be easily seen and apart of your decor.
I live in crewneck sweatshirts and leggings (I have to believe we all do at this point…) One of my favorite finds on IG has been this sweatshirt shop run by a friend. Every holiday Katie nails her designs with the coziest and highest quality pieces! This season is the red sweatshirt that says ‘loved’ with a special meaning behind the heart sleeve. These are available in both adult, youth and child sizes. Perfect for your kids, yourself, or even sending a gift to someone special.
I still love sending my girlfriends valentines. Unfortunately we cannot see one another for a cozy galentine’s together, but there is still mail!!! When looking for something cute to send my girls, I came across these darling valentine’s from one of my favorite brands Meri Meri.
