Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I am sharing my guide to a well styled, traveled and cozy life.

So glad you are here!

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: A QUARANTINED CHRISTMAS

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS: A QUARANTINED CHRISTMAS

I am a HUGE tradition kind of gal, and I cherish our Holiday events so much. Christmas Eve is my literal FAVORITE night of the year. It is the one day of the year I get to spend with every single person I love. We attend a Candle Light Church Service with my entire family, heading to my Aunt & Uncles for dinner and gift opening afterwards. Watching my niece pass out presents to everyone and opening her own brings so much joy to my heart. We then travel off to a family friend’s house to meet up with all my best friends and their families for a true magical time before we have to be home for Santa to come.

Even though our holiday traditions are so special, they are no match for the year 2020. So many things this year have been altered, and we just have to roll with it the best we can while we wait for brighter times. In hopes of having a very cozy Christmas at home I’ve put together some fun ideas to keep your family having fun through a quarantine holiday.

  1. A Christmas themed puzzle. I can’t think of a better thing to do when it’s cold and snowy out than cozy up and put together a puzzle! The puzzle themes this year are on point, so many cute little city themes! This one is adorable and so is this one! So festive & fun for everyone!

  2. These Anthro mittens are adorable and come with a little set for a special little one in your life. I think it’s important to take advantage of being outside. It may not be possible to go on a long walk where you live, but just getting out for a few minutes with your kids, pup or significant other can sometimes be just what you need to reset a little.

  3. THIS popcorn bowl is PERFECTION! I have had this on my wish list for awhile now and I am so happy I finally made the purchase. Perfect for binge watching Christmas movies like Home Alone One/Two, The Grinch, Polar Express, A Christmas Vacation and Elf… I could go on!

Also: please note that this is theeeee BEST bagged popcorn!!! It gets me in trouble, but so worth it. Literally. so. good!

  4. We wish you a Merry Cocktail!!! This book; ‘Very Merry Cocktails’ is my new favorite!!! I am not much of a drinker BUT I love making festive drinks, it is so much fun! Every single page looks magical and yummy. Some recipes I am looking forward to making are from pages: 34 ‘White Christmas, 40 ‘Evergreen Sparkler’, 71 ‘Santa Baby’ and 114 ‘Gingersnap Punch’.

  5. A Barefoot Dreams blanket is an actual dream. I picked mine up a couple years ago from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I was a little hesitant because of the price (even though it was on sale) BUT I have no regrets-so worth it! The link above is for Nordstrom Rack, but the blanket tends to sell out quickly due to being half off regular price. If you just can’t wait, you can purchase one for full price through Nordstrom instead.

  6. A Kindle is a wonderful way to pickup your reading. I have one of these on my wishlist to help enhance my book reading skills from now into the New Year!

Other things we will be doing to have fun will be playing card games, like crazy 8’s, SkipBo, and Bingo! We love playing card games and we don’t take the time to do it nearly enough!

I have also created a couple of fun coloring pages for kids to enjoy (or even yourself)! Click on the link to download the file and send it to your printer! If you happen to color these pages, tag me in them on social media!
