Hi.

So glad you are here!

CHRISTMAS CHARCUTREE

CHRISTMAS CHARCUTREE

There are only 8 more sleeps until Christmas!!!! We are in the full swing of the coziest time of the year. Christmas trees are glowing, presents are (nearly) wrapped, coffee tastes better out of a Holiday mug, Christmas movies every night, tinsel and pine needles are being found everywhereeee around the house, it couldn’t be better!!!!

When it comes to the holidays, I love being extra extra festive. Some may say I live for it. I love taking everyday things and adding a little festive touch. To me, it is what makes the holidays even sweeter and more magical. Something I definitely always try to put together around the holidays are Charcuterie boards. Sweet or savory, I think they are the perfect thing to add a festive touch to. I can’t think of a better time to share a super quick and easy Christmas Charcutree I threw together, that you and your family will be sure to love!!

  1. First step is to find a board to use! You can use pretty much anything, a plate, cutting board, or cheese plate. Get creative! I found this Christmas tree board at Michael’s.

  2. Pick up some of your favorite treats! You can pick a combination of your favorite holiday treats, like cookies & candies.

  3. Start by placing your biggest/bulkiest pieces. For this type of board those would be the cookies. I added chocolate chip cookies and gingersnaps (purchased at target) and spread them in clusters through the board.

  4. I then added another item a little on the bulky side, which were the mini Reese’s. I clustered these together in some gaps around the cookies.

  5. Next came the mini candy canes (also a Target purchase). I carefully added these in for a nice mix of color and festive vibes.

  6. Last but not least, the marshmallows!!! Use the marshmallows to fill in all the gaps you have left, making sure to leave no space on the board bare. I also used a mini star cutter to cut out star shapes for a little extra touch.

  7. Enjoy! Whip together some hot cocoa for everyone and let them top it off with the fun treats.

pro tip: dropping a candy cane in your hot cocoa gives it the perfect peppermint flavor

Makayla
